The 17th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Festival - A weekend of everything that flies!
Last February 9-12,2012 at Clak freeport zone, Pampanga
Me & Rence (my prime partner in crime) was scheduled to meet 2:00 in the morning but, as expected we both woke up a little (well, super) too late. so instead of having an early trip to pampanga, we left the metro at around 4:00 AM, which is not a very good idea.
Travel time was around 2 & a half hour (bus to Dau terminal & jeep to the freeport).
we arrived at the event at 6:30 AM.
WE WERE TOO LATE TO SEE GIANT BALLOONS UP IN THE AIR :(
But, aside from the balloons, there were other interesting happenings going on at the event so we weren't that disappointed. PLUS! we heard that there will be a hot air balloon night glow.

Unfortunately..
Due to heavy breeze
the giant balloons
failed to go
up up in the air :(
But, overall.. the trip was worth the time :) and hey! more reasons of coming back e?
Next year, will try riding one of the balloons. yey!
